Our bed & breakfast is just a few hundred metres from the village square in Koudekerke, in Zeeland. The village is ideally situated between Middelburg (3 kilometers), Vlissingen( 3 km) and the beach (2 km). Within a few minutes you find yourself in the fields, and you will have a view on the dunes!
Cycling and walking
Walcheren is ideal to explore by bicycle. You will have no problem to stay away from the main roads and enjoy polders, dunes and the beach. Casa Koudekerke is close to a regional cycling network and to the national cycling routes LF1 and LF13. We have different maps in our B&B, allowing you to plan your own route. You can walk to the dunes of Dishoek in a little more than twenty minutes. From there, you can make beautiful beach walks towards Zoutelande and Vlissingen.
Sightseeing
The historic center of Middelburg is definitely worth a visit. Stroll through narrow alleys, visit the medieval abbey or take a boat trip on the canals. On Thursday, there’s a market on the market square and in the summer there are regular antique markets in the city. The boulevard of Vlissingen and the centre of Middelburg are less than ten minutes away. A little further you will find lively villages such as Domburg, Zoutelande and Veere.
